Berth counts describe designated sleeping places, so a 2 berth motorhome has a bed for two. That can be a fixed double, an island bed, twin singles, a French bed or a lounge that converts at night. Because the floorplan only has to serve two people, 2 berth layouts offer the most generous lounges, kitchens and washrooms per metre of vehicle.
