After a hectic few weeks at the NEC Motorhome Show and hosting Camper UK’s End of Season Rally, Camper UK is excited to announce our tremendous win of two prestigious awards at the Lincolnshire Live Business awards 2022.

This October, Camper UK along with an array of fantastic Lincolnshire businesses gathered for the prestigious Lincolnshire Live Business Awards 2022. Celebrating the very best of Lincolnshire, the Lincolnshire Live Business Awards bring together an array of inspiring individuals and excellent busnesses from across the county.
This black-tie event, held at the Lincolnshire Showground, was beautifully decorated by the Events Team for an exciting night ahead. Camper UK was thrilled to share this evening with many talented companies and business persons to celebrate each other’s achievements, particularly after the time of turmoil that we have all experienced. To hear all about the incredible things that the credible businesses had accomplished, felt truly inspiring. Difficult times led to difficult decisions for Camper UK over the course of the pandemic, which makes winning both of these awards even more of an honour.

This outstanding award recognised the determination and natural leadership of Dean, who consistently strives to raise the profile of Camper UK, ensuring customers are met with complete satisfaction and integrity, and always believing in every member of the team.
Unknowingly to Dean, he had been entered into this category from recognition of others for his excellent leadership through a time of turmoil, and his consistent support for the business and all employees. Over the course of the pandemic, Dean ensured that Camper UK would remain a ‘great place to work’ by encouraging working relationships, completing 1:1 appraisal’s, and empowering employees to have their say.
Dean Hyde received additional recommendations from Business Specialists: Jeremy Wetherell from Queensgate Management; Accountant, Brian Stopford from Stopford Associations; and Alastair West from Barclays Corporate Bank UK. All of which offered great support and gave brilliant testimonials on why they believed Dean to be a deserving winner of this award.

After a tremendous evening celebrating all businesses within Lincolnshire for the Lincolnshire Live Business Awards, it is a huge achievement to say that Camper UK was leaving with the main prize of all, the Business of the Year 2022!
Camper UK is absolutely honoured to have won the Business of the Year 2022, a huge milestone for Camper UK and definitely a shock to all the team who attended the ceremony, amongst the many deserving finalists. The judges awarded Camper UK this award for “delivering excellence for years, contributing to the Lincolnshire economy and community, and helping spread high standards to others through initiatives such as the ‘Grow Your Own’ campaign, and a training and accreditation partnership with the University of Lincoln.”

Congratulations to all nominees and finalists who have all recently experienced doom and gloom but this award is proof that the leisure industry, like many, is continuing to grow and people are still investing, improving the economy and leisure time/work-life balance.
