We had a lovely experience meeting your staff, collecting the van and staying over at the Leisure Park. We’re so pleased with the result it’s perfect in every way. 

Simon was incredibly patient in taking us step by step through the controls, appliances & general operations. We even managed to begin to sus out some of the gadgets via the phone app…. Not bad considering we’re complete ‘newbies’! Dan was also very helpful and accommodating – particularly when we returned on Sunday afternoon and interrupted his lunch just to show us where the our bathroom light-switch was hidden! Please pass on our thanks to them both.

We first met Dean last September while we were still researching our choice of motorhome.  As part of our research we had hired one in Scotland and visited many motorhome dealerships, several of which we would not choose to visit again never mind do business with!  However, our first visit to CamperUK was in a different league, we were impressed with the quality of information we were given, the fact that we were not put under any pressure to buy, the tour of the showroom and the workshops which we found tidy clean and well organised (well done Alan).  Dean came across as not only very knowledgeable but very honest giving us facts and not sales blurb.  After our visit we both said that this was a company we would be happy to buy from, even though we live in Devon and they are based in Lincoln nearly 300 miles away. 

We were so impressed with CamperUK that we decided we would go to the October motorhome show at the NEC to talk further with Dean and look at new motorhomes.  As things turned out, we saw and very much liked the Burstner TD Harmony Line TD690G and struck a very amicable deal with Dean.  I don’t think we would have taken this step had it not been for the confidence we had in Dean and CamperUK. 

Once we had returned home we then found that we had more questions with regard to extras that we might need and the team at CamperUK could not have been more helpful, they were so willing to spend time talking to us.

When we received a call to say that our motorhome had been delivered from the factory and was ready for collection, we had some serious family difficulties in that mum was taken very poorly.  Despite CamperUK really needing to firm up a date, they were very understanding about our situation, which we really appreciated.  Prior to collection we decided that we would take a trip up to CamperUK to finalise which satellite and gas system we would want along with other accessories, this was by far the easiest option rather than trying to do it by phone.  Rob, the shop manager was exceptionally helpful in assisting us with our choices and thank you Alan for your technical expertise.  Interestingly, we were sat in reception waiting for Rob and talking to two other customers who said they would not deal with any other motorhome company, this further confirmed that we had made the right choice to buy from CamperUK.

The collection and handover of our motorhome was a really pleasant experience, very well organised.  We were given a time slot for collection, allocated a technician (Denis), who would go through all the technical things and we were told that we could take as long as we needed, ask as many questions as we liked without feeling rushed.   It was as we were told with no rush and a very in depth handover.  The whole process was somewhat of a celebration with a blackboard notice congratulating us on our purchase, a photograph taken with our new motorhome and we were given an unexpected and welcome celebratory bottle of wine.  Also on collection day you get 10% discount in the shop, so it’s well worth buying all your extra bits and pieces.

Once we’d collected our motorhome (aka Hector), we drove to the CamperUK campsite escorted by Dean, which had been pre booked for us, the first night is complimentary but we opted to stay for an extra couple of nights.  This was an excellent decision as it gave us the opportunity to put into practice all the information that Denis had given us and test drive the van and all the equipment.  The Campsite is really lovely, spotlessly clean with manicured lawns and gardens surrounding a lake and it is most definitely a good stop over both on collection and for future servicing.  We only found one minor glitch with the motorhome which was a couple of lockers that popped open as we drove along, these were attended to promptly in the workshop before we drove home. 

In the course of our extensive research we visited most motorhome retailers from Yorkshire to Devon.  We can thoroughly recommend CamperUK, we certainly wouldn’t want to deal with anyone else after this experience.  Well done and thank you to Dean, Alan, Rob and the rest of the team.  We now feel part of the CamperUK family.......

Just to let you know, we have been looking for our first motorhome for years and I know we probably came across as Tyre Kickers (my son who work at Audi told me that phrase). Anyway, I can tell you 100% Genuinely that both I and Catherine have agreed on one thing - we could have searched for another ten years and not found such a wonderful company and people to deal with than Camper UK and we will never look anywhere else for our next one because its one thing a Salesman telling you there company is great on the phone but now we know it is true because we have seen it for ourselves so for that thank you very much indeed and we will give you great reviews wherever we can. It always feels like a family run business that always, always tries to look after their customers and make them feel part of their 'family'. They have an excellent range of the more top-end new and used motorhomes (Cathago, Burstner and Swift) and are really worth a look at, if only to see how personal a sales place can be.

Hello Dean, 

I wanted to let you know how much we appreciate the service provided by Camper UK.

We bought our Burstner 55 from you 2 years & 3 months ago, and so my wife Lynn and I are now enjoying our third winter in Spain.

Unfortunately, last week our habitation door lock failed, on the inside. I tried to buy a replacement nearby, but was told delivery would be at least 20 days, and we are moving along the coast in 10 days, so it would arrive too late. 

I also learned that Burstner do not sell just the internal door lock and the complete panel and locking mechanism costs just over £300! As you can appreciate, this all left me feeling a little concerned.

These feelings were further piqued because, staying on a campsite in Spain we are happily surrounded by Brits, all keen to help and share their experiences! One such neighbour eagerly related his recent experience with the door lock on his Knaus.

As a consequence, I phoned Mick Johnston and asked if he could help. Mick was incredibly supportive from the first moment. He asked for photos of the part that needed replacement and then immediately found a spare and offered to send it out to us. It arrived 3 working days later by courier and is now fitted into our door.

This has both relieved the stress that I was feeling (it’s not much fun having to open the door with a screwdriver once the inner lock had been removed) and made me proud to be dealing with Camper UK!

For existing customers, your after-sales service staff are your best salesmen!

We Feel compelled to sing the praises of Camper uk, Lincoln. We stayed at their Camper UK site prior to taking it in and were impressed with the site and the helpfulness of the wardens there.
We Had a Thule cycle rack fitted to our 590 and a small warranty repair carried out on our waste valve and would just like to say we cannot fault their commitment and service!
I would just also like to single out Carl in the parts department for all his help!
